Purchase Collaba
To install and use Collaba, you need to purchase enough annual user licenses for all your users. By purchasing annual user licenses, you receive free software upgrades throughout the year and get technical support (see details below). There are no server licenses; the cost of user licenses is the only cost you need to pay to get Collaba.
Prices exclude sales taxes, if applicable to you.
We accept: VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club, JCB,
wire transfers, regular or certified checks.
Customers in France or Quebec should contact us to inquire about special pricing and solutions.
*SDEL (System-Down-Emergency-Line): An emergency phone line for system-down incidents.
Details about licensing
Technical support
Collaba includes complete user and administration documentation, which should help you do or solve almost anything. But if you ever get stuck and need help, we include technical support with all our licenses*.
* 1000 users or more: We provide unlimited technical support by e-mail, as well as an emergency phone line.
* Less than 1000 users: We provide e-mail technical support through a ticket system. When you purchase Collaba, you get a list of support ticket numbers (quantity determined by license size - see pricing list above). When you request technical support by e-mail, you include an unused ticket number, which allows us to fulfill your request.
System-down emergencies (S.D.E.L.)
If your system is down and you are unable to revive it, an emergency phone line is available to get you back on-line as soon as possible. Available to all customers with the SDEL support option (see table above).
Estimating your license needs
It is important to estimate your license needs correctly from the start, as quantity discounts apply to each order individually. For example, it is muchless expansive to order 50 user licenses right away than purchasing 25 licenses twice.

| Education customers Certified educational organizations get free limited user licenses for PARENTS. These licenses allow parents to connect to Collaba from home and get access to a number of features related to their kids: news board, read-only calendars, and parent-to-teacher short messaging. Two parent licenses are provided for each student account.
France customers
«Bureau Virtuel Scolaire™»
If your educational organization is located in France, please contact us so we can connect you to our Paris-based Collaba sales and support team. In France, Collaba is bundled as «Bureau Virtuel Scolaire» (or BVS) by Orange (France Telecom) and De Marque Europe, and includes many additional tools and services.
Quebec customers
If your educational organization is located in Quebec, please contact us so you can benefit from Quebec-only discounts because of Quebec's historical involvement in the early stages of development of Collaba.

Renew existing licenses? If the expiration date for your licenses is approaching, consider renewing them early. To renew a license, simply purchase a new license key from our on-line store. The old one will expire as scheduled, but the new one will already be in effect. Use the on-line store form on the left.
Need more licenses?
As you deploy Collaba, you might need to get more user licenses along the way. To get more user licenses, simply order them through our on-line store at any time.
Consolidating expiration dates
When puchasing your licenses progressively throughout the year, each license's expiration date is different, which might become a bit difficult to track and fit in annual budget deadlines. To consolidate your license expiration dates and have all licenses expire on the same day, please contact us.
Online Store Assistance:
Installing Collaba for the first time
To install a Collaba server for the first time, go to the Download page and follow the instructions therein. To simplify things, the exact same package (a .zip file) is used as a first-time installer and as an upgrader for existing servers.
Previous product line and upgrade policies
In February 2008, the Collaba product line was completely restructured, thus leading to the replacement of all four Collaba editions (Education, Enterprise, Special Edition and Light Edition) by a single new unified Collaba product. Version 6.1 is the last release of all four terminated editions, while version 7.0 is the first release of the new unified Collaba. Click here to read about migrating your existing licenses.
